Ricky and Colin White, and John White - also known as John Pogmore - made bids for release in Wodonga Magistrates Court this week.
The trio were taken into custody in the early hours of 2021 following the heated, alcohol-fuelled dispute.
The court heard John White had been drinking at a friend's Toole Court home when an argument started and quickly led to him removing his shirt.
He allegedly threatened to stab the man and his children before being removed.
John allegedly returned with his brothers and a German shepherd at 1.20am on New Year's Day and tried to get the dog to attack the four adults and 10 children at the property.
Witnesses said the trio had knives and bats, with police investigating those claims.
The brothers spoke to a man on the corner of Toole Court and Ritter Road and challenged him to a fight before saying they wanted to bash the man involved in the earlier argument.
Colin allegedly demanded the man come out of the home and fight them before ripping the handle from a screen door and trying to force his way in.
Colin and Ricky allegedly pushed their way inside while making threats to stab the occupants, with a woman hit to the side of the head and pushed against a door frame by Colin.
The court heard Ricky headbutted a door frame before being punched by Colin and pushed outside the brick house.
Police arrived a short time later, with two brothers arrested at the scene and another arrested after dropping the dog home.

The case is still be investigated.
"From the initial examination of the crime scene, investigators located and seized a baseball bat suspected to be related to the incident," an officer told the court on Monday.
"This concerning crime has left the victims and their children in great concern for their own safety.
"The victims have expressed their anxiety of a possible revenge attack by the three accused.
"Personal safety intervention orders have been applied for in respect to (the mother) and her children who reside at the address."
The court heard the brothers were all heavily drunk at the time.
Police spoke to them about 9am on New Year's Day but they refused to be interviewed or leave their holding cells at the Wodonga station.
The three men applied for bail and all were refused by a magistrate, who found they didn't satisfy the requirements for being released.
They will return to the court for mention on February 2.
