Grapes of Mirth offers the ultimate festival day with five headline comedy sets and some sweet tunes by DJ Pedro Moshman. Line-up includes Peter Helliar, Nath Valvo, Harley Breen, Geraldine Hickey, Jude Perl and Merrick Watts. BYO food is allowed this year. Brown Brothers will also sell their Gourmet Food Hampers. Strictly no BYO alcohol. All tickets include a take-home wine glass. This is an 18-plus event. Return buses will run from Wangaratta, Beechworth and Albury-Wodonga.
FIRED UP
Albury Community Wood-Fired Oven Bake, Hovell Tree Park, Sunday, January 24, 4pm
Albury Community Wood-Fired Ovens have re-opened. The ovens are fired up every second Sunday for free community use, with an oven coordinator on hand to help you. Anything you bake in your oven at home you can bake in the wood-fired oven such as bread, damper, pizza, roast meat and vegetables, cakes and scones. Bring your own utensils for cutting, turning and rolling. Live music by Nathan Vaccaro. Wodonga's Wood-Fired Oven at Belvoir Park also operates between 11am and 2pm.
TONIGHT LIVE
Australia Day 2021 at The Kinross, Kinross Woolshed, Thurgoona, Saturday, January 23, from noon
Head to The Kinross to celebrate its first birthday and an early Australia Day with the Hottest 100 Countdown (pick the top 10 and win up to $500 or pick the top 10 in order for double that). Other highlights include yabby races from 1.30pm, Best Dressed Aussie Bloke, Best Dressed Aussie Shella, lamington eating competition and barbecue. Live music from Jack McDonald and Headroom from 7pm until 1am.

Join the Cumberoona crew for a Saturday Sunset Dinner and Music Cruise. Live acoustics by Corowa's Marcus Osborne. Enjoy a drink or two as the sun sinks over Lake Mulwala. Sit indoors or alfresco.
