Firefighters have contained a car fire which spread into dry grass.
The CFA, RFS, Fire Rescue Victoria and Fire and Rescue NSW were all alerted to the incident on Bonegilla Island about 12.30am on Friday.
A utility, which appeared to have been placed on cinder blocks and had its wheels removed, was torched.
The blaze spread to grass off Island Road.

Fire crews spent 90 minutes ensuring the area, which is in Victoria but can only be accessed through NSW, was safe.
Firefighters had the fire extinguished after about 20 minutes but stayed to ensure there were no hot spots which would flare up.
They returned during the day to ensure the fire remained out.
