Tennis Australia selected the venue as one of three regional centres across Victoria to host an Australian Open Celebrates Australia Day event.

Despite rain early in the day, around 170 people attended, with live entertainment from vocal duo Vika and Linda Bull the highlight on the main stage.
A host of children's activities were also popular and the courts were put to good use with Hot Shots matches in full swing.
Wodonga Tennis Centre president Craig Farrar said the day was a huge success.
"It's a bit of a celebration of the year we've had," Farrar said.
"It's been a tough year. I can remember us setting up for events in smoke haze and then we shut down due to COVID.
"A lot of people had not been to our centre before. Getting the community to see what we have here is what it's all about."
