Queenslander Chris Wood won the $137,500 event at Moonah Links Resort on Sunday and he's now elected to bypass Corowa's $50,000 tournament after gaining exemption to the NSW Open.
However, at least three other players in the top 12 will tackle the Border layout.
"Because there's nothing else on for them to play to be honest and the fact the players have been in Victoria, you've got a field at least equal to what was playing in the Vic PGA," Golf NSW general manager of golf Graeme Phillipson said.

"There's about 35 to 40 trying to get a game, that's the demand for the tournament."
Corowa product Marcus Fraser will be the sentimental favourite for the two-day event, starting Tuesday, February 16.
