It's alleged the 22-year-old Wodonga man was behind the wheel of a blue Ford utility which performed two loops outside the station on Sunday afternoon.
People in two vehicles appeared to film the incident and are still being sought.
Senior Sergeant Shane Martin said it was a good result.
"After it was put in the media, someone contacted police immediately," he said.
"We received information from the public to say who it was."
