The pair was set to 'christen' the redeveloped Lavington Sportsground Oval, but Victoria's five-day lockdown last Friday forced the Rebels to relocate quickly to Canberra.
It therefore didn't make sense to send the two clubs on a 680km round trip when they are now based in the same city.
