Just one shot separated Lavington from Culcairn in their 55-54 clash in Lavington on Saturday.
Duncan Balloch skipped his rink to a 25-15 win against Terry Hensel to help Lavington edge its way over the line.
Another encounter came down to the wire with just a one-shot difference between the competition's ladder leaders Henty and North Albury.

Henty managed a 62-61 win at the North Albury Bowling Club.
The victors claimed eight points to North Albury's two to see them come out on top in what was warm playing conditions.
Henty leads the Albury and District grade three ladder followed by North Albury, Lavington and Culcairn.
Round eight next weekend will see Lavington take on North Albury, while Culcairn will meet Henty.
Following those clashes, two rounds remain for the 2021 pennant season.
