Former Lavington paceman Ross Pawson has taken the next step to representing NSW after debuting at Second XI level on Monday.
Pawson was named for ACT-NSW Country against South Australia at Karen Rolton Oval.
COVID has had a massive impact on what is basically Sheffield Shield's reserve grade, although ACT-NSW Country met NSW Metro last Novermber, while Tasmania and SA played last month.
Right-arm quick Pawson sits 17th in NSW Premier Cricket's wicket-takers with 22 at 25.
