AN eclectic mix of soul, Americana, rock and blues will be front and centre at a special show coming to Albury next week.
Albury's own Paul Gibbs has curated the 2.5-hour concert, Upstream UPbeat, which will kick off Upstream - Festival of Art + Culture in QEII Square on Friday, March 5.
It features four acts.
Gibbs said as part of the brief all of the bands and musicians hailed from the border.
"It's a pretty eclectic mix of artists," he said.
"It's a really great showcase of local talent."
Albury singer-songwriter, Iva Mahoni, 16, will bring her soul-infused sound to the stage.
Coming from a musical family, Iva's passion for music began early, learning the guitar from age 4.
She has also recently released her debut EP Sincerely, which is available to stream on all platforms.
"Iva was involved in Christmas in our Hearts, which was a huge success," Gibbs said.
"She's doing some great acoustic originals."
Wodonga-based Dean Haitani presents soulful earthy vocals and a unique finger style.
Haitani draws inspiration from blues and roots music, and his love of funk and old-school R&B rhythms.
"Dean Haitani has just finished a new album (Red Dust), working with Nicky Bomba (John Butler Trio)," he said.
Riverina trio Taktile will play an eclectic mix of country-rock and Americana music, along with some classic covers.
Finally, Sons of Motherless Goats will bring their own special breed of rock and blues covers to the stage.
The Albury-based band formed in the early 1990s, playing venues and festivals throughout the North East.
They play a huge variety of cover songs built up over many years of entertaining audiences of all genres, but predominantly lean toward rock blues covers from many acts the likes of Johnny Diesel and the Injectors, George Thorogood, Cold Chisel, Credence Clearwater Revival and John Butler Trio.
Haitani will open the show at 6pm with a 40-minute set.
Iva will play two sets from 6.40pm to 6.55pm and from 7.35pm to 7.50pm; Taktile will perform from 6.55pm to 7.35pm; and Sons of Motherless Goats will round out the gig from 7.50pm to 8.30pm.
