
Two men have died after a train collided with a truck west of Young.
About 5.15pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to Eurabba Lane at Bribbaree, approximately 70 kilometres north west of Young, after a crash between a freight train and a b-double truck on a rural rail crossing.
As a result of the impact, the truck and surrounding grass area caught alight which was extinguished by the Rural Fire Service and Fire Rescue NSW.
Officers from The Hume Police District attended and established a crime scene.
The two men who were inside the truck died instantly and are yet to be formally identified.

The train line between Stockinbingal and Quandialla is expected to be closed until 7am on Wednesday.
Fire and Rescue NSW Inspector Dean Campbell said crews were on scene for a number of hours to assit with extinguishing the fires.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
