AWFA's 22-round fixture is traditionally played across 24 weeks with byes for Easter and the Queen's Birthday long weekend.
However, with Anzac Day falling on a Sunday this year, the association also isn't playing that weekend, which means the three-week finals series has been pushed back a week.
The cup final, which normally takes place on the second Sunday in September, the day after the Tallangatta league grand final, is now on the third Sunday (September 19), in line with the Ovens and Murray decider.
