ALBURY has made a triumphant return to the John Ferguson Cup by taking out the tournament at Deniliquin.

The Border sent a team of 24 to compete in the under 11, 13 and 15 and open grades and emerged victorious against Wagga and Griffith.
Players competed in singles, doubles and mixed matches.
The cup has been in recess for several years with Albury coach Phil Shanahan saying it was important it returned to the calendar.
"It's been running for a long time but has had a few years off," Shanahan said.
"Our players all did really well."
Meanwhile, North East finished seventh in the Pat Cash Cup at Wodonga Tennis Centre at the weekend.
The region posted a 3-2 win-loss record against bigger and more experienced zones throughout Victoria.
Eleven regions took part.
In other tennis news, Wodonga will host the Victorian Country Championships Labour Day tournament this weekend.
A strong contingent of Border and inter-state players are set to take part with officials confident of strong entries.
Canberra's Leon Hemmings took out the open men's title last year while Traralgon's Eliza Dunbar was successful in the women.
Albury's Jade Culph is set to lead the local brigade after making the semi-finals last year.
Play starts on Saturday with finals scheduled for Monday.
