The former Sri Lankan first-class player's wife is working at Graincorp Oilseeds in the northern Victorian town, which is around 30 minutes from Shepparton.
"My wife did her Masters in Australia in biotechnology and she was able to get a job in the same field here," Kodamullage said.
The couple is also pursuing Australian permanent residency.
Kodamullage runs the MASH Cricket Academy in Melbourne and Albury and boasts ICC Level 2 coaching accreditation.
He played for Victorian sub-district outfit Preston and Premier district club Greenvale.

Kodamullage has been miserly, taking 31 wickets at 13 apiece, with an economy rate of 2.7, while he's also posted 343 runs at 26.
Although uncertain of his plans for next year, he will attract interest from Shepparton and Melbourne clubs.
