EMERGING Corowa star Gabby Sutcliffe didn't have time to be nervous for her Women's National Cricket League debut and it showed.

She was called up by the ACT Meteors to play NSW Breakers just 15 minutes before the match and responded by taking the wickets of internationals Alyssa Healy and Ash Gardiner and Wagga's Rachel Trenaman.
Riverina head coach Catherine Wood said Sutcliffe exceeded all expectations by taking 3-66 off nine overs.
"She did really well," Wood said.
"It's not a bad start taking those three wickets is it?
"I think she knew she had to bowl her best ball every ball against that sort of opposition.
"It probably helped that she didn't really get time to be nervous."
Sutcliffe, 18, is living in Canberra and made her WBBL debut for Sydney Thunder last year.
The promising medium-pacer will travel with the ACT Meteors to Western Australia later this week for a double-header of WNCL matches.
