At the end of his threatening, hoon driving, the man - who cannot be named - yelled out: "You're a f ... ing dead dog."
The man had wanted his case to be finalised in Albury Local Court on Tuesday, but magistrate Richard Funston said that would have to wait.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Sergeant Nicole Peacock said a sentencing report on the man had only just been completed.
"I want that sentence assessment report, I need that," Mr Funston told the man before adjourning the charges to March 23.
The man, 27, of Logan Road, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to charges of driving in a manner dangerous, stalking or intimidation and contravention of an apprehended violence order.
On his plea, police withdrew charges of failing to notify a change of address and resident not obtain a NSW driver's licence.
The court was told the disability support pensioner, who did some part-time work, had been in a sporadic relationship with the victim's mother for about three years.
The boy was 16 at the time of the offence and was living with his mother and sister in McDonald Road, Lavington.
An apprehended domestic violence order was in place for their protection.
The boy was at home on December 13 about 11.15pm with his mother and sister, watching television, when they twice heard loud screeching that sounded like a car doing a burn-out.
They went outside to investigate and saw the man in the driver's seat of a dark Holden Commodore.
He opened his door and looked back at them.
"Get away from my house," the boy told the man, who yelled abuse in return before driving at him while doing another burnout.
