Athanitis, who pleaded guilty to disputing an umpire's decision, successfully appealed a second charge of bringing the game into disrepute.
The incidents occurred during a recent match against North Albury at Bunton Park.
Athanitis is free to play in Sunday's semi-finals if the Roos defeat third-placed Albury at Billson Park on Saturday.
