Ablett was set to attend training and speak at a club function last month but was a late cancellation on the day of the event due to personal reasons.
The dual Brownlow medalist has honoured his commitment to the club and will be in Myrtleford on Thursday.
Saints president Ian Wales said it was a pleasant surprise that Ablett could make an appearance so soon after cancelling.
"Gary said at the time he wasn't cancelling the function, he just had to postpone it due to personal reasons," Wales said.
"So he has stuck to his word and it was just a matter of finding another suitable date.
"Nobody has asked for a refund so we are expecting a good crowd to attend.
"There are still a few tickets left for anybody interested in attending."
