Stronger than 12 months ago? "I can't see why not. We've had a good injection of players," Brookes said.
Coaches comment: "We have juniors that have come through into seniors, so it's a really exciting time for us," Brookes said.
DEDERANG- MT BEAUTY
Coach: Justine Goonan.
Gains: Alysha de Koeyer, Taylor Dowling (returning), Lucy Lembke, Chloe Romans, Shani Collins.
Losses: Leah Carter.
Stronger than 12 months ago? "We have a great group of A-graders who are either locals or have played at the club before. While our team is different, we're in a great position to have a positive season," Goonan said.
Coaches comment: "I'm looking forward to a great season with a fantastic senior squad and getting back to netball in our Dederang-Mt Beauty community," Goonan said.
KIEWA SANDY-CREEK
Coach: Kath Evans.
Gains: Ash Birrell, Bec Harris, Caitlin Davis, Deb McDonald, Kristy Heffernan, Jacqui Spence (returning), Georgie Attree, Keiran De Koeyer, Jas Saunders.
Losses: Amy Kindellan, Ash Samers, Hayley Butters-Neves, Charlotte McKnight, Eilish Wallace, Georgia Reid, Katelyn McDonald, Keeley Britton, Kelli Evans, Maddy Murtagh, Olivia Reid.
Stronger than 12 months ago? "We've got a similar team, so I think we'll be close to what we would have been last year," Evans said.
Coaches comment: "Training's been upbeat because people are so glad to be together again. I'm looking forward to the continued strength of the association," Evans said.
MITTA UNITED
Coach: Gabrielle Gray.
Gains: Ava Kennett, Abbie Duncan, Narelle Pendergast, Jess Barton.
Losses: Steph Ackland (Wodonga).
Stronger than 12 months ago? "I think the passion and commitment factor is going to be different. The girls really want to be here, so from a dedication perspective, I think we'll be stronger," Gray said.
Coaches comment: "I'm just excited for us to be connecting with other communities. There's always going to be rivalries, but it's going to be fantastic to get that social connection back," Gray said.
RUTHERGLEN
Coach: Brianna Renshaw.
Gains: Ava Cofield, Bec Cooper, Bridget McAnanly, Bindi Haywood (returning)
Losses: Emily Browne, Jamie Sandilands (North Albury), Lily Buckingham (Bendigo), Cristy Jacka (retired).
Stronger than 12 months ago? "Probably not. We've had some big losses with Em and Jamie," Renshaw said.
Coaches comment: "We're young, so it will be a good development year for those girls to rise to the challenge and show everyone what they can do," Renshaw said.
TALLANGATTA
Coach: Erika O'Connell.
Gains: Rebekah Ohlin (Albury), Tess Grimmond (Melbourne).

Stronger than 12 months ago? "With Bek and Tess coming in, I'd say we're looking stronger than we would have been," O'Connell said.
Coaches comment: "It's just good to be getting back into it. It's been a long time between seasons," O'Connell said.
THURGOONA
Coach: Kristie McInnes.
Gains: Annie Bell (Corowa-Rutherglen), Molly Smith (Brock-Burrum), Alaana Northey (Bandits).

Stronger than 12 months ago? "We have a really different side, so it's hard to make a judgement. It's exciting to see some of our younger girls coming up through the ranks," McInnes said.
Coaches comment: "It's great to get back on the track with the girls to have some fun again," McInnes said.

Stronger than 12 months ago? "I think we'll be competitive. We've got a younger side, so they're only going to improve throughout the season," Skinner said.
