The Valibo Nursery owner said people often "come away feeling a lot better" after walking through his extensive collection of plants that are small in stature but huge on appeal.
During COVID-19, he likes to think "maybe we did a little bit of good" for those who enjoyed the beauty of these Japanese-style art forms.
He added the global pandemic had seen many people finally take up a hobby they'd always wanted to pursue but never had the time for.
Bonsai has been a passion of Mr Van Lint's since the 1970s and he has carefully cultivated his collection.
On Friday, March 26, he will again stage his Bonsai Under Lights fundraiser for the Murray Conservatorium Choir, from 7.30pm to 10pm.
The choir will perform and there will be an exhibition of botanic artwork (the $15 entry includes wine and cheese).
The display can also be viewed on the Friday from 10am to 3pm for a gold coin donation.
