
Wodonga won its way through to another Ovens and Murray A1 pennant grand final with a come-from-behind seven-shot win in the preliminary final against YMCGR at Corowa Civic Bowls Club on Saturday.
No more than five shots separated all four rinks with Wodonga lifted by a 21-16 win for Mason Bayliss against Leslie Spencer.
Josh Rudd got past Michael Szabo, 23-20, Paul Davies pipped James Lefevre, 15-14, while YMGCR picked up one rink thanks to a 25-23 result for Ray Irvine against Peter McLarty after a late charge from the Wodonga quartet.
The Bulldogs face Wangaratta in next weekend's grand final at Corowa Civic.

Myrtleford kept its chances of promotion to A1 alive with an impressive 89-53 salute over Mansfield in the preliminary final.
Attila Litkei was a 30-8 winner against Graham Smith, while Lance Symons downed Ray Robinson, 24-17.
The other two rinks went the way of Mansfield with Graeme Clements a 15-14 victor against Paul King, while George Peterson toppled Gregory Robbins, 23-21.
Rutherglen awaits Myrtleford in the grand final at Wodonga next weekend.
