NORTHSIDE saved one of their best performances of the Ovens and Murray season for the grand final to crush Sharks 13-4 at Albury Swim Centre on Sunday.
With skipper Tyson Mutsch leading the way, the Lavington combination raced to a 7-2 advantage at half-time and never looked back.
It was the club's first A grade title since 2004.
"I was a bit surprised by the margin but we stuck to our game plan really well," Mutsch said.
"I'm really proud of the boys.
"We have two or three players over 30 but that's about it.

"It was a good way to finish the year off."
Sharks sorely missed the suspended Shannon Gould and relied too heavily on Ben Douglass and Josh and Will Gould.
On the other hand, Northside had strong contributors everywhere with Rex Gallaher, Elih Mutsch, Sam Beddoes and Brad Woodland effective.
"We're a pretty even side and everyone played well," Mutsch said.
