Muller has joined the Corrimal Netball Club this season after deciding to make the move to Wollongong.
The 20-year-old said connections at the club, as well as a change of scenery, were contributing factors in the decision.
"I was looking at going somewhere a bit different and I think I needed a bit of a change in my lifestyle," she said.
"It just really stood out to me.
"I'm intrigued to see what the competition is like."
Muller wowed the AFL Riverina Championships last season by helping Mangoplah-Cookardinia United-Eastlakes to a premiership, while also being crowned joint league best and fairest winner in just her first season at the club.
The young star admitted the experience has given her some confidence heading to her new team.
"It is nice having a premiership under your belt," she said.

"Last year really showed me that I love the sport."
Muller had planned to make her Victorian Netball League debut last year with the City West Falcons before the COVID-19 pandemic derailed the season and saw her return home.
While her VNL dream is on the back-burner, she said it's still something she'd like to pursue one day.
"I definitely do want to give the VNL a go, but at this stage it just wasn't the right place for me," Muller said.
"I'm not in an age group anymore, so I have all the time in the world."
Muller admitted it's set to be a change, with her new league not connected to any football teams.
She'll relocate next week for work and netball, but has plans for her last weekend on the Border.
"I've decided to have one more weekend at home to see Raiders and Mango play in a practice match," Muller said.
"It's my two teams coming together."
