The reigning premier is set to unveil 11 new faces when it clashes with flag contender Kiewa-Sandy Creek at Thurgoona today.
Several premiership veterans have opted to retire since the end of 2019 including Jamarl O'Sullivan, Matt Fowler, Matt Murray and Josh Maher.
Barton medallist Jayden Kotzur will also be missing but is eyeing a mid-season return due to business commitments.
Former coach Brett Doswell will extend his glittering career for at least one more season.
Doswell is likely to spend more time in attack as the Bulldogs attempt to cover the losses of Fowler, Maher, Sam Cross and Jake Bruce alongside the absence of Kotzur.
Brown said it was a big occasion for the club with the Bulldogs set to unfurl their 2019 premiership flag.
"We will have 11 new players from the 2019 premiership side," Brown said.
"Which is exciting because most people were saying how old and slow we were two years ago.
"But we have got a young side now which is full of energy and brings a different dynamic to the club."

The Bulldogs will have several recruits making their debut at the kennel including Jimmy O'Connell from Corowa-Rutherglen.
O'Connell played more than 100 O&M matches and will play across half-back and pinch hit in the midfield.
Matt Howard has also crossed from CDHBU and will inject some leg speed into the side and can also play across half-back and in the midfield.
Brown said Thugoona's versatility will be one of its biggest assets this season.
"I think we will be a tough side to match-up on because we have a lot of guys that are versatile," he said.
"If things aren't working we can change things around and have plenty of options."
Thurgoona will have four teenagers who have emerged through the junior ranks play today.
Brown said three of the former juniors will be making their senior debut.
"We have got four new kids coming up from the juniors," he said.
"Ben Armstrong played one senior match in 2019.
"But we will have Ben Ralph, Elijah Farrer and Hayden Smith playing their first senior match.
"They have just done everything right over the pre-season and deserve their opportunity."
Thurgoona only had the one pre-season hit-out against Howlong.
"It's not ideal only having one pre-season match with so many new faces," he said.
"But we had a few sides pull out on us at the last minute.
"We know we are facing a genuine contender in Kiewa so we will get a good gauge of where we are at."
