BARNAWARTHA'S stocks have risen even further with classy forward Josh Star making a surprise return in the Tigers' 31-point win over Chiltern on Saturday.
Star was released from his contract with Rand-Walbundrie-Walla after a last-minute agreement was reached between the clubs.
The tall half-forward kicked 40 majors for the Hume league club in 2019.
Star kicked one goal in Saturday's victory and formed a potent attack alongside Josh Spence, Connor Wiffen and Peter Cook.
Barnawartha trailed by 12 points at the final change before the floodgates opened with Matt Campbell, Matt Dalbosco, Mitch Exton and Cameron McNeill dominating the final 20 minutes.
