Most of the messages were highly offensive, filled with vulgar, threatening language, Albury Local Court has heard.
Magistrate Richard Funston had asked prosecutor Sergeant Andrew Coombs how many text messages, phone messages and missed calls were sent by Jarrod Heather.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Sergeant Coombs said there were too many to say in a quick count.
However, police had told the court in an outline of the case that the final tally would have been at least 150.
Heather, 27, of Parkland Crescent, pleaded guilty to using a carriage service to menace, harass or offend and to the contravention of an apprehended violence order.
At a previous mention of the case, Mr Funston described Heather's behaviour - which happened while he was on a community corrections order - as terrible.
Heather's sentence hearing was told he had begun a men's behavioural change program, as his lawyer, Mitchell Irwin had suggested.
"He's really found it a great experience so far."
Heather had also begun full-time work as a plasterer, Mr Irwin said, and "that being busy is good for him".
Heather's harassment was from November 12 to 18.
Police went to the victim's home on November 18, with the victim, now 33, providing them with a phone log of everything sent by Heather.
She had pleaded with him to simply leave her alone and that if he wanted contact with their children he needed to undertake mediation.
Mr Funston said if it wasn't for him beginning the program he would have not have given Heather the "one final chance" of a conviction and a $1000 fine.
