St Pats exacted revenge for its 2019 cup final loss to Wangaratta with a nail-biting 4-3 win at South Wangaratta Reserve on Sunday.

Patties led 3-1 at half-time and made it 4-1 in the second half, however, two goals in the last five minutes gave Wangaratta a chance to snatch a point, but St Pats held its nerve to claim victory.
Claire Mahoney finished with a hat trick, while Isabella Barbaro also found the back of the net for St Pats.

Assistant coach Josh O'Farrell was proud of the effort after a long wait since it last played Wangaratta.
"It was good for the girls to continue on where we were late last season and still be very competitive, scoring goals and playing quite an attacking brand of football," he said.
Albury United and Boomers' clash at Jelbart Park was postponed, while Albury Hotspurs had the bye.
The women's ladder after round four is: Albury United 9, St Pats 9, Albury Hotspurs 7, Boomers 4, Wangaratta 3.
