Alpine areas were blanketed with snow in the early-hours of Sunday morning after temperatures dropped below freezing.
The unseasonable April snowstorm saw five centimetres of powder fall in Dinner Plain, Falls Creek and Mount Hotham - the first autumn snow of the year.

At Mount Hotham, a low of -4.6 degrees Celsius and a 'feels like' temperature of -14.5 degrees were recorded on Sunday by the Bureau of Meteorology.
Temperatures did not climb into the positives at all on Sunday at and wind gusts of 57 kilometres per hour were recorded.
In Albury-Wodonga the mercury dropped to a low of 6.4 degrees at 7am, with a 'feels like' temperature of 2.5 degrees.
Only 0.4 mm of rain fell across Saturday and Sunday. It was the coldest temperature recorded on the Border so far this year.
The temperature in Beechworth reached a low of 5.3 degrees on Sunday.
Freezing temperatures are forecast to continue across the Alpine areas in the early part of this week, with minimum temperatures of -4 degrees and -2 degrees expected on Monday and Tuesday at Mount Hotham.
Maximum temperatures of 3 and 5 degrees are forecast.
In Albury-Wodonga, partly cloudy days are expected across the week.
The Bureau of Meteorology have forecast a minimum temperature of 4 degrees on Monday and Tuesday, with maximums of 18 and 20 expected respectively.
Despite the cool weather, rain is not forecast in Albury-Wodonga until at least Wednesday.
