The Savoy defence absorbed a lot of pressure throughout the contest and stood tall when Boomers challenged to keep its unbeaten record intact.
Kye Halloway had a great chance inside the first 15 minutes after he was picked out by a great pass from Jason Colombera, but was denied by Myrtleford keeper Jayden Vescio.
Moments later Frazer Trezise's shot was blocked and Noah Spiteri sent the follow-up over the bar.
Colombera almost converted a miraculous bicycle attempt early in the second stanza, but was narrowly wide as Myrtleford's defenders continued to put their bodies on the line at crucial times.
Veteran Adam Griffith came close to snatching it for Boomers inside the final 10 minutes, but his shot was also narrowly off target.

Myrtleford co-coach Luc Doherty was delighted to come away with a point against a quality side.
"It's a tough place to come and with the amount of injuries we had, we're happy," he said.
"We're missing two in our front line and some of the midfield.
"We were pretty short and the way we set up today we didn't really have a lot of outlets, but the players who came through like Aaron Cappellari did an excellent job for us.
"I think we dug deep and that was the main thing."
It was a frustrating afternoon for Boomers' coach Andrew Grove as Myrtleford proved difficult to break down.
"They were really solid, their back six held a really good structure," he said.
"We had two really good chances in the first 15 minutes and maybe if we had have taken them it would have forced them to come out and try to equalise.
"The longer it stayed nil-all, the more it lent into their game plan.
"We had some good chances towards the end, but we just didn't have that edge.
"The goals have been there in previous games, it was more our defence through the midfield we wanted to tighten up, which I felt we did.
"It was a different type of pressure today because we had a lot of the ball and they were hitting us on the counter a little.
"We probably didn't expect Myrtleford to play that way today.
"We just need to be more clinical in around the box with our first touches and passes and hit our targets."
Boomers host reigning champions Wangaratta next week, while Myrtleford faces an improved St Pats outfit.
