It's the first time the female under-19 national carnival has been held on the border, with some of the best metro and country players from Victoria, NSW and the ACT taking to fields on both sides of the river.
The competition commenced last Wednesday and will conclude on Tuesday, with four T20 and four one day games scheduled for teams across the carnival.
Sutcliffe and Hoskin are both lining up for ACT/NSW Country, with their side currently leading the standings after winning their first five games.
They met Vic Country in Baranduda on Monday, where they chased down their opponents total of 176 in just under 25 overs.
ALSO IN SPORT:
Sutcliffe took two wickets, bowling Vic Country's Tiana Atkinsons out.
Hoskin also took a wicket in the clash.
Cricket Albury-Wodonga chairman Michael Erdeljac said it was a coup for the region to be hosting the national competition.
"It's fantastic for Cricket Albury-Wodonga to be able to host an event like this," he said.
"It puts Cricket Albury-Wodonga into the eyes of cricket Australia to show that we can host national carnivals.
"It proves to the councils that the facilities we have are some of the best in the country and Victoria and NSW Cricket are happy to bring their representative sides here."
