Coby Fitzsimmons has taken out East Albury's cricketer of the year in just his second season at the club.

It marked the first time the 17-year-old has landed with the award.
"I was pretty stoked," Fitzsimmons, who scored 608 runs and took 18 wickets, said.
"I had a pretty good year with the fellas, so I was happy with it."
The talented teenager is set to depart the club for Melbourne next year.
"I'll try and find a club down there and play some high level cricket," he said.
East Albury were bundled out of the semi-finals last season by St Patrick's after securing fifth spot on the ladder.

"We could have performed a bit better in the high stake games," Fitzsimmons said.
"We had all of the talent and skill, we probably just didn't execute at times.
"It was still a really good season."
Second grade premiership captain Sean Barrett was named East Albury's Club Person of the Year.
Meanwhile, captain Dean Nicholson took out St Patrick's best and fairest award which is named in honour of his best friend Braedon Hensel.
Paceman Cameron Suidgeest won Wodonga's top honour.
