Long-standing member Lyn Lieschke was presented with a long service bar during a lunch at Soden's Hotel, Albury on April 13.
It would not have been a CWA occasion without a birthday cake made by Eunice McRae and decorated by tireless president Lyn Jacobsen.
Members reflected on the many decades of service and friendship at the small branch which has weathered the vagaries of floods, fires and a global pandemic, and remained unflagging in their fundraising efforts.
Only recently, one member made the "hasty" decision to take orders for batches of hot cross buns, which saw $300 raised for the CWA Flood Disaster Relief.
The Pleasant Hills Patchwork Group made a selection of bags for victims of homelessness or domestic violence, which the CWA branch will fill with goodies and distribute for Mother's Day.
Meanwhile the Pleasant Hills members did well at the recent Riverina Group Handicraft and Land Cookery Day, coming home second in the cooking division, according to Ms Jacobsen.
They will now have to cook their prize-winning entries for the State Conference: Margaret Hasler with her light fruit cake, Louise Hasler with the junior patty cakes and Lyn Jacobsen with the Donna Latter chocolate cake.
In handicrafts, there were also several items selected for state level: Louise and Natalie Hasler with their deco art in the two junior sections, Bev Frohling with some knitting, and Eunice McRae with a patchwork quilt in the over 80s section.
