Kotzur, Thomas and Hayden all made their senior debuts for the Giants last week.
Nathan made his senior debut as a 14-year-old two years ago against Murray Magpies and kicked five goals including a goal with his first kick in senior football.
Mellier said the youngsters deserved their spots.
"They are great kids to coach and are hungry to learn and listen to instructions," Mellier said.
"They are prepared to put their bodies on the line and tackle hard.
"Some of their acts in the opening round were team-lifting and they deserve their opportunity."
