FIVE QUESTIONS WITH TOM RAKE
Q: How have you found new co-coaches Kade Brown and Dan Cleary?
A: It's been a changing of the guard with a lot of the older blokes retiring and a lot younger side. I'm waiting to see how many of those older blokes end up playing with Murray Crays.
Q: With all the retirements, who is the quickest Bulldog?
A: Michael Rampal has still got most of us young pups covered. You get windburn sometimes when he runs past you at training.
Q: Speaking of 'Rama', he boasts an impressive highlight reel and has already added to it this season?
A: 'Rama' got higher than Joe Cocker last weekend and took another big hanger which thrilled the crowd.
Q: 'Rama' doesn't mind telling his teammates about his screamers?
A: Put it this way, 'Rama' is not the most modest bloke at the kennel and doesn't mind a bit of 'me' time and telling you how good he is.
Q: You come up against a former Bulldog this week in David Price who played in the 2017 flag?
A: Hopefully he has lost a yard of pace since he last played in the Tallangatta league but it will be interesting to see how good a player he still is because I rated him highly at Thurgoona.

MATCH OF THE ROUND BARNAWARTHA v TALLANGATTA
Tallangatta have lived up to the hype of being flag favourites in the opening month with victories over Mitta United, Kiewa-Sandy Creek and Wahgunyah. But their flag credentials will face another stern test this weekend against Barnawartha. The Tigers will be desperate to rebound strongly after having their colours lowered by Yackandandah last week. Former coach Peter Cook has missed the past fortnight and the Tigers will be sweating that their match-winner is available this week.
The verdict: Tallangatta by 17-points
