External administrators have been appointed to a large rural trucking business.
EJ and KR Brooks Pty Ltd, the company behind Brooks Trucking and Storage, recently had an external administrator take control of the business.
The company has operated in the southern NSW region for 20 years, with multiple sites.
Its Facebook page has been removed in recent days.
Two administrators, based in Melbourne and Sydney, are listed as external administrators or controllers of the company.

A document filed with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission noted a debenture has been granted in favour of the National Australia Bank.
The family owned company employs about 18 staff and specialises in transporting farm goods, and warehousing and storage.
The administrators did not return multiple calls from The Border Mail requesting comment.
Calls to managing director Ted Brooks were not returned.
