A: Everybody knows you can't win flags in April but we have laid the foundations for a top-three finish and you can't ask for much more than that at this stage of the season.
Q: Your only blemish was against Yackandandah who have been the early season surprise packets?
A: Yackandandah certainly caught us off guard and is a young, hungry side with plenty of leg speed.
Q: Mercurial forward Peter Cook has only played the one match but you have been able to cover the loss so far?
A: Peter who? No, I'm only joking. Hopefully Cookie is back sooner rather than later because we are undoubtedly a couple of goals better side with him lurking deep in attack.
Q: Benalla recruit Ben Kunkel has really stiffened up your defence playing as a key defender?
A: Ben is among the premier defenders in the competition and one of his biggest strengths is he rarely gets beat in one-on-one contests and is not afraid to go for his marks.
Q: Mitch Exton has been equally impressive after also crossing from Benalla?
A: Mitch oozes class and is not only a damaging midfielder but can also play forward and is a classy finisher.

FIXTURE
ROUND 6
SATURDAY, MAY 8
Yackandandah v Beechworth
Tallangatta v Thurgoona
Barnawartha v Kiewa-Sandy Creek
Wodonga Saints v Rutherglen
Chiltern v Wahgunyah
Dederang MB v Mitta United
MATCH OF THE ROUND: Barnawartha v Kiewa-SC
Both sides are expected to progress deep into September but the pressure will start to mount on the Hawks' top-three credentials if they let this one slip. Albury recruit Micahel Thompson and key forward Mitch Paton have missed the past fortnight but are expected to play on the weekend. With the home ground advantage, Barnawartha should win in a tight one with Mitch Exton, Josh Star and Josh Spence the biggest difference.
Prediction: Barnawartha by nine points
