Last year we wondered whether touring live gigs could ever return but this weekend sees a variety of singers across Albury-Wodonga ready to welcome an audience. On Saturday night Reece Mastin and his five-piece band hits the stage at SS&A Albury while Melbourne band Uptown Catz aims to entertain at Commercial Club Albury. Or you could go retro at Albury Entertainment Centre with Rewind 80s The Mixtape Tour. Sunday's live music venues include Albury Brewhouse, Church Street Hotel, Wodonga, The Bended Elbow, Albury, and Balldale Hotel.

Jezza Memorial Cup, Billabong Crows Football-Netball Club, Oaklands, Saturday, May 8

Emotions will be strong as a country community honours Jeremy Martin-Heath, who died in a single vehicle accident at Oaklands last year. The Crows play Rand-Walbundrie-Walla Giants today with the winner of the match taking home Jezza's Cup. There will be a minute's silence and guard of honour at 12.30pm before the reserves match. During the game, Jeremy's jumper, number 37, will be worn for the last time by his younger brother, Jamie, 16.
