Despite the best opening quarter by the Bandits so far, it wasn't enough to fend off Kilsyth on Saturday.

The Border women's side were defeated 78-100 by the Cobras at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, in what was their highest scoring game of the season.
A hungry 29-point first term performance saw them take control of the match early, before a momentary lapse saw the momentum shift.
"We just had a bad five minutes to end the second quarter," coach Matt Paps said.
"That was disappointing because it was where the game got away from us and we didn't recover from the score from there.
"We felt like we were in the game, we were just too far back.
"It was our best first quarter of the year from an offensive point of view."
Captain Emma Mahady led the charge with 41-points for the Bandits, while Brodie Theodore had her best game so far with 28 points.
"Her (Theodore) efficiency rate was through the roof," Paps said.
Jade McCowan also put up a strong fight in her on court match-up with Kilsyth's Lauren Scherf.
It was a challenging task, with the opposing power forward standing at 196 centimetres tall.
"She (McCowan) was very good defensively against Lauren," Paps said.
"She battled hard all game."
Youngsters Ruby Watson and Mia Puntoriero are also settling into their first season with the side, both taking two rebounds.
"Ruby's really starting to learn how to use her speed to her advantage," Paps said.

"They make good contributions in the time they get."
The Bandits are still waiting for their first win of the season, however Paps admitted this week showed a clear improvement in effort.
"We made them work for it this week, as opposed to other weeks," he said.
"We had one bad patch, where as in the last few weeks there's been multiple.
"They shot really well from the three point line which hurt us a little bit."
The Bandits will now prepare to take on Waverley Falcons for the second time this season.
The Falcons recently posted a 93-64 win, with the Bandits to have a home court advantage this time.
