
UPDATE: A man remains in custody after being charged over a double stabbing.
Leeroy Hagen's matter was briefly heard in Albury Local Court on Monday.
He did not apply for bail, which was formally refused.
The 20-year-old will return to the court on July 6.
EARLIER: A man has been airlifted to hospital and another is recovering in Albury hospital after a double stabbing on Sunday night.
A man was arrested after the pair were allegedly attacked on Crisp Street.
Police allege the men had been walking on the street, near Parkway Lane, before the incident.
A 21-year-old man received two stab wounds to his abdomen and a 23-year-old was stabbed in his chest and hand.
The pair arrived at hospital about 6pm.

The younger man was flown to Melbourne for treatment.
The pair's injuries are not life threatening.
A 20-year-old man will face Albury Local Court on Monday after being arrested and refused bail.
He is charged with two counts of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
