Goodman tore his MCL against Rutherglen a fortnight ago in a tackle.
Scans have since confirmed a torn MCL.
"Hopefully I can be back in eight to ten weeks," Goodman said.
"The good news is I'm confident I will be back before finals.
"The most frustrating thing is I haven't been able to get through a full season for a couple of years now.
"But that's footy I guess.
"I just want to stay involved with the club as much as I can and get stuck into my rehab so I'm back sooner rather than later."
Goodman arrived at Wodonga in 2018 after playing representative football in Queensland.
He only played a handful of matches in his first season at the kennel after suffering a broken jaw.
