The Blues completed a clean sweep of the first block of games with a comprehensive 29.19 (193) to 1.4 (10) victory against Corryong at Corryong on Saturday, but didn't get through completely unscathed.
Darcy McKimmie suffered a broken arm and is set to be sidelined for a month, but with the Blues' next spell the week before the league's bye, he may only miss two matches.
Kylin Morey booted another nine goals to take his season tally to 38 from three games, but he played with a partially torn PCL, while Jake Vinge (five goals) and Ben Hall (four goals) have been sore but pushed through each week.
"We've got a big test against Tumba next and then Federal, but we've got two weeks off after that so we'll be carrying a few boys through until then," Cudgewa coach Brayden Carey said.

"I'd prefer it now than later in the year."
Corryong took it up to Cudgewa in the early stages of the contest, but were unable to take full advantage on the scoreboard as the Blues carried a 55-point cushion into the main break.
It was one-way traffic in the second half as Cudgewa piled on 20 unanswered goals to cruise to a big win.
Michael Voight, Dayne Carey, Mitch Pynappels and Robert Phibbs also impressed for the Blues.
Patrick Riley, Jordan Bailey, Thomas Shanks and Jesse Crawford were among the Demons' best.
Meanwhile, Bullioh responded from its narrow defeat to Cudgewa last start with a 28.19 (187) to 2.3 (15) defeat of Federal at home.
Bulldogs' co-coach Kelvin Wallace led the way with seven majors, with four each to Shane Price and Harry Schubert, while Leo Nicolson, Josh Walters, Taylor Fenton, Joel Bannister and Luke Rafferty were sublime.
Marc Gould, Steven Galt, Charlie Star and George Galbraith were Federal's best.
Tumbarumba had the bye.
The ladder after round five is: Cudgewa 16, Tumbarumba 12, Bullioh 8, Corryong 4, Federal 0.
