The Palmer's management company Remlap on Tuesday had its tender for the park operations accepted by Federation Council.
The tender was deemed the "most advantageous" for council with an annual remuneration of $300,000 as part of an initial two-year deal.
They will return to the park where they previously had a stint in charge for 14 years before stepping away in 2018 ahead of council beginning a major upgrade of the park after a series of compliance issues were revealed.
Issues included the age of park infrastructure, layout of sites and structures, and many serious compliance, safety and risk issues including many red-gum trees within the park in the direct proximity of sites.

The council has been managing the park for nearly two years with present short-term contractors, Elite Park Management, also in the mix for the longer tenure.
Mayor Pat Bourke welcomed the return of the Palmers.
"It's fantastic to have it all resolved," he said.
"Obviously they were very passionate about coming back and felt they had a lot to contribute.
"The people who have been running the park on a short-term contract have been very good.
"We're hopeful of another federal funding grant, but we're certainly looking for more money for the whole precinct.
"We want to get it up and going as quickly as possible."
