COCAINE, methylamphetamine, cannabis and numerous bottles of prescription medication were found in a rental car after it hit a power pole in North Albury about 2am on Thursday.

The driver, 40, was arrested at the scene at the corner of Mate and Wantigong streets.
Witnesses told police the gold Camry was travelling north in the southbound lane of Mate Street before the crash which left the driver unable to be woken.
After police arrived he was taken to Albury hospital for mandatory testing.

A search of the rental car allegedly uncovered almost 100 grams of cocaine, as well as methylamphetamine, cannabis and more than 40 bottles of prescription medication.
Officers also found 32 porcelain chess pieces containing a brown substance, which will undergo testing.
Police also allegedly found a firearm silencer, extendable baton, several mobile phones, housebreaking implements and cash.
The man, who had an outstanding warrant, has been remanded in custody to face Albury Court on Friday.
He has been charged with possess prohibited drug, supply prohibited drug, possess prescribed restricted substance, possess prohibited weapon, possess identity information with intent to commit indictable offence, possess housebreaking implements, deal with proceeds of crime, and goods in custody.
