Porsche Centre Melbourne brought models to Albury following successful activations in 2016 and 2018.
What was new to the Porsche in Motion display at QEII Square in Albury was Taycan, the first all-electric Porsche that was launched in February.
Ms Bailey, who is currently a Porsche owner, took it for a drive and said it had just about swayed her on her "anti-electric" stance.
"I was not expecting it to be so good," she said.
"It was quiet, but you didn't feel as if you were in a silent car.
"In the city, it would probably be fine but in the country areas I think it is an issue.
"You'd have to plan your trips at this stage. But it has good range."
The Chargefox station in Barnawartha is among the places the Taycan can be quickly charged and a home assessment on suitability for home-charging is done through Porsche prior to any purchase.
E-performance specialist James den-Bakker said it launched in Australia in February.
"You have a lot of Porsche enthusiasts interested because it's the first of its kind," he said.
"They want to know more about the range of the car and how long it takes to charge ... and headline items about its performance.
"Porsche is very conservative with the numbers that they give but with a standard model ... we're seeing high-300s.
"A bigger battery pack you'll get 400s.
"Performance-wise, the slowest version of the car will do The naught to 100 in four second and the turbo will do it in 3.2 (seconds)."
Mr den-Bakker said there were currently Taycan regional owners, of whom one spends time in the North East.
"Especially as infrastructure does get better, given the convenience of waking up with a full tank every day, (there will be more take-up)," he said.
"And with the acceleration, it gets addictive to drive."
Porsche's display is running from Friday to Sunday and includes simulators of driving a 911 GT2 RS.
