League president Rex Gray said round eight's fixture, which was scheduled for this Saturday, will instead be played on Saturday June 5 if the state is let out of lockdown.
"Hopefully round eight can be played the following weekend," Gray said.
He said the league had been prepared for a situation like this, with COVID-19 procedures agreed upon at the start of the season.

"Everyone agreed with what the procedure would be that we'd follow with the COVID protocols," Gray said.
"We need 11 games so everyone plays each other once, then we'll work out the final structure from there if we get that far."
Thurgoona is the only club not based on the Victorian side of the Border.
The entire state of Victoria will start the seven-day lockdown from 11:59pm tonight.
