Albury-Wodonga Health updated their visitor restrictions on Friday in line with the new restrictions.
As the service is overseen by the Victorian government, the restriction apply to both Albury and Wodonga facilities.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Visitors are no longer permitted expect for end-of-life care, as a support partner during birth, or as a parent accompanying a child.
The organisation said they understand it might be disappointing for patients and families, but protecting patients was its top priority and the restrictions were necessary to protect the community and vulnerable patients.
