The O and M has been forced to stage two matches at Lavington Sportsground as the league resumes from a month-long interleague and COVID break.

Lavington will face Wodonga from midday, with Wangaratta and Yarrawonga from 2.45pm.

At this stage, no Melbourne-based players can contest the round.

The league is promoting the unique event as an extravaganza of football and netball, with more than nine hours of action.

"It's been great for the game to play a double header at a fantastic facility and we're pleased the NSW Government will enable Victorian supporters to attend matches," O and M general manager Craig Millar offered.

Last Friday, the NSW Government banned Victorian spectators in the northern state under COVID health orders.

However from midday Monday, Victorian spectators are allowed to watch sport in NSW, providing they haven't been outside the Victorian border region and do not travel outside the NSW border region.

"One of the aspects I'm excited about is through these times you can trial something that you normally wouldn't by providing a day where there's lots of footy and netball, it's pretty exciting," McClounan explained.

It's been an incredibly busy time for all parties as they strive desperately to return after seven rounds.

"Clubs have acknowledged it's in the best interests of the game, community spirit and the health and well being of the players that we need to get this season back on track," Millar revealed.

"Wangaratta has been extremely flexible because this was their home game."

Lavington and Wangaratta will split the gate 50-50, while they're working on the food and beverage model.

Lavington has two grounds, so the open-age games will be held at the No. 1 Oval, while the under 18s will be on No. 2.

Lavington-Wodonga reserves will kick-start the action on No. 1 from 10am, followed by the seniors, with the two Wangaratta-Yarrawonga games after that.

There will be six netball matches, with Lavington and Wodonga starting C grade from 9am.

The day and venue for the under 17 games will be determined between the clubs.

This Saturday was originally scheduled as round nine, so there's also Corowa-Rutherglen-Wangaratta Rovers, Albury-Myrtleford and North Albury-Wodonga Raiders.

Yarrawonga and Albury haven't played for five weeks.
