The Hoppers are the only winless outfit and will start long outsiders in every game after the COVID break, starting at home against Wodonga Raiders on Saturday.
"The aim will be any little wins we can get, not necessarily wins on the scoreboard," reigning best and fairest George Godde explained.
Like all clubs, the Hoppers will be flying 'blind' after the first-ever month-long break during the season.
What the Hoppers do know is they have a talented set of siblings, who've been one of the standout features.
"The Gardiner boys, Flynn and Foster, Foster's only 16, he's going to be an out and out superstar," Godde offered.
"He's got poise, the work ethic, everything, he's going to be one for the future, big time."
