The RACV retail store on High Street is holding a food drive until July 9 in support of Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare.
Food items can be dropped into the collection boxes between 9am and 5pm weekdays and the RACV team will then deliver the donations to the Border charity.
Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare general manager Peter Matthews encouraged people to support the food drive, adding his group had seen a 40 per cent increase in services this year owing to COVID-19 and the bushfires.
"We're anticipating that Victoria's recent lockdown will generate even greater demand," he said.
"We often find that people aren't sure what to donate.
"High on the list are tins of spaghetti, baked beans and vegetables, bags of rice and pasta and jars of coffee."

RACV general manager, social impact and corporate communications Louise Steinfort also asked RACV members and the wider community to contribute.
"We recently completed a solar and battery installation at the Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare as part of our Solar in the Regions program - a $1 million project to install solar and battery systems, free of charge, on community buildings in bushfire-prone Victorian towns."
Solar in the Regions aims to improve safety for communities vulnerable to bushfires and at risk of being cut off from electricity and communications networks during emergencies.
Albury Wodonga Regional FoodShare was one of 28 bushfire-impacted sites RACV identified to receive a solar and battery installation.
