Six unanswered goals in the second term put the Blues in the box seat and they were never headed from there to record a 12.9 (81) to 5.13 (43) salute.
Ben Hall led the way for Cudgewa up forward with five majors, while Kylin Morey nabbed three in his return from a knee injury.
Robert Phibbs, Josh Boyle, Steven Phibbs and Michael Voight stood out.
Max Nicolson and Jacob Curran were Bullioh's best.
Cudgewa assistant coach Dayne Carey said the win was set up by the defence.
"It's a great feeling to beat Bullioh. They beat us back in 2019 for the premiership, so it's always good to get one back on them," he said.
"The first quarter was a bit hard with the wind against us, but the second quarter we used it to our advantage.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"When you've got big key forwards up there in (Ben) Hall and (Kylin) Morey and they're on target, it's handy.
"I think Bullioh wanted the breeze at first to get the jump on us, but our defence stopped them.
"(Robert) Phibbs, (Josh) Boyle and (James) McInerney and of course Brayden (coach Brayden Carey) is a general down there and is always putting his body on the line for us.
"We came out after half-time firing and ready to go. We all remembered back to what happened in the grand final (in 2019) and they came out after half-time and flogged us, but we're a lot more mature now and kept the ball off them."
Meanwhile, Tumbarumba moved back to second with a 24.21 (165) to 3.3 (21) thumping of Federal at Tumbarumba.
Steven Hoffman, coach Quinn Rooney, Jacob Read and Henry Waters booted four goals apiece, while Hunter Clayton and Finn De Bono also impressed for the Roos.
Federal assistant coach Haydn Cook, Marc Gould and Steven Galt tried gallantly for the Swans.
The ladder after eight rounds is: Cudgewa 24, Tumbarumba 16, Bullioh 12, Corryong 4, Federal 0.
